Sucks to be Me ... Again
This past weekend was New York Comic Con where Jim Butcher the author of my new favorite book series The Dresden Files; Justin Cook, one of my favorite voice actors (he voiced Yu Yu Hakusho's Yusuke Uremeshi); and Simone, the creator of tokidoki promoting his latest collaboration USB Flash drive with Mimoco, were in attendance.

Where was I? Home ... helping my mom clean and cook for the Jewish holiday Passover.

I wish I had gone to NYCC. I would have been one happy fangirl if I did.

Jim Butcher and Yusuke? :( I didn't even nkow about it, but now I'm sad that I wasn't there, as well.

Well, hopefully things were...interesting with your mom. And your family is Jewish?

No wank or offense intended. I'm just curious.

No offense taken. ^_^
Yep, we are jewish, but we're pretty lax on the pratices. Passover is one of the few holidays we celebrate because in a lot of ways it's similar to Thanksgiving (ie it's a holiday where family gets together and enjoys an amazing feast).

Cool. Can you get me Mel Brooks' autograph? ;)

And I hope everything went well. If your passover is anything like our thanksgiving, there's lots of fighting and family drama.

Things wen fine, and thankfully the only drama was between my cousin's 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son (they want the same toy at the same time).

Well I'm glad things went well. Toy drama, aside.

And thanks. Personally, I'd love to see Sanzo thrown into a Monty Python film. Of course, I think it would be relatively short. You know, with Sanzo shooting all the characters as he went along.
